Over the past 2 years as Chairman, Steve Barker has been pivotal to the ongoing success of Eurosafe, and during his watch, has overseen the new Eurosafe brand, Eurosafe’s industry-leading event, the introduction of a dedicated Import Buyer, a Product Information Management (PIM) system with a PIM System Manager and witnessed our membership growing to a magnificent 19. As Managing Director of Arden Winch & Co, he understands how important it is to know absolutely everything about PPE, because when you are confident in your products, and all the standards that come with it, the customers hear and feel the benefit.

2 years later, it’s the turn of our Vice Chaiman, Jonathan Hall, to take over as Chairman. As CEO, Jonathan has been working with his pioneering family business, Consumables Solutions Limited, delivering added value integrated supply chain solutions for many years and it’s his dedication to the industry and reputation as a trusted partner that has been rewarded in this way.
“Thank you to Steve Barker, who has delivered real, tangible improvements over the past 2 years – it’s been a real pleasure to learn from him. My aim is to keep building on the solid foundations of the Group with a view to adding 2 – 3 new members which share our vision and have the knowledge and scale to add further value. Now we have a critical mass, it’s about adding even more quality and technical capabilities. We will also be delivering the PIM software project to all members in Q1 2025 and will be further expanding our Espro™ product offering. Also joining us on the board as Vice Chairman is Jason Mathias. Jason is the Managing Director of Mathias and Sons, a family owned and run business supplying workwear, corporatewear and PPE across the UK and Europe. They specialise in tailoring solutions to suit the exact needs of each individual customer. Using innovative technologies to control cost and compliance is key to everything they do, and using their technical expertise in workwear & PPE to act as a trusted partner for their customers. As Vice Chair, Jason will manage and head up the Supplier Engagement Team whilst supporting Jonathan Hall drive Eurosafe forward.
